The Producer

Gretchen Wilson has always been a powerful voice in country music, and the same can be said about her standing in the studio. Even during the recording of her debut album “Here For The Party” in 2005, Gretchen has always been adamant about being true to her musical influences in her sound.

Gretchen began producing her own albums when she started her own label in 2009. The first album on Redneck Records entitled “I Got Your Country Right Here” would see the release of “Work Hard, Play Harder”, it was her 1st top 20 hit since 2006.

Gretchen has produced 5 more projects since then. Working sometimes on her own, and sometimes with good friend and renowned producer Blake Chancey, Gretchen is most proud of the opportunity to work with such outstanding people in the studio.

“The studio has always been a safe haven for me and I attribute that to the fact that I have always been lucky enough to work with the most professional and talented people in the industry. I will always be grateful to those who have been there to make this music with me!”
